 Greetings deepblue, LW was configured for full access, and was running full out, when NIS did an automatic liveupdate. After the update it stated the system needed to be restarted for the updates to take effect. So I closed all the running applications and clicked okay. Don't know exactly what NIS did, but it sure was annoying until I turned off the modem and then restarted. I didn't change any settings at all, and LW is running full out again. I normally get 120+ KB/s d/l and I saw 1 u/p last night hit a little over 70 KB/s. I'm assuming it was a glitch between the modem and NIS for some reason, since I never changed any settings.  |
