I've been using LimeWire for about a year or so, and I love it. I never had looked at the connections tab before and was concerned about something.
There were five and six connections listed while there was only one upload taking place according to the monitor. What's going on with this? Is this something to be concerned about? It kind of scares me. I disconnected from LimeWire and won't reconnect until I find out about this. Thank you. Lula |

Those connections show you are connected to the G network, this a good thing, and helps the network out.
If you look at them they are probably 5 ultrapeers. When you do searches if you are not connected you will not get many results, if any. I am connected as an Ultrapeer, I normaly have 32 peers and 32 leaves connected. |

Ok... thanks for replying
![]() What's an "ultrapeer"? I suppose I should know that... or find it for myself... |
