![]() i just had LW running as suddenly my computer froze i had no choice but to reset it when i had restarted it and opened LW again, i got the message "the old downloads cannot be resumed" the unfinished files are still in my "incomplete" folder, but still the unfinished downloads don't appeare anymore in the search window isn't there anything i can do about this? it would be absolutely terrible, because there was one very important download for me a big file that i tried to download for almost 2 months now and just yesterday reached 98% i just can't believe that... |

![]() One point I should make (I forgot), is that you may need to select one to downld, if it doesn't continue from the same % downlded then delete it & select another off the the search results. It can be a bit painful but if you have large incomplete files it may be worth the effort. For those that are only a few % downlded it might be better to start those ones from scratch. |

![]() it didn't work although the files are still in the incomplete-folder and not renamed as corrupted, they don't appeare again in the search window i tried to restart the download but it didn't work because there is only one user who has this file and he went offline when i just wanted to restart the download but before he went offline, it seemed as if the download would have started at 0% again *sigh* the strange thing is that at the moment of the crash, only one minor important download was running but all of them are gone now, as it seems Last edited by TrangleC; February 5th, 2005 at 07:50 AM. |

![]() Sorry to hear! With an earlier version of LW it used to happen all the time to me ... and that's no crashes. Of course you can try the Resume button from the library as a last resort. But obviously best to wait until they're back on line. |
