Awaiting sources problem... I have been trying to download the song The K***t at D*lin C**le by D*by D**n for a week now. It keeps telling me that it is 'awaiting sources' and I don't know what the problem is. I tried to chat with the host and see if that would help, but it won't allow me to do that either. What do I do? Is there even anything that I can do? Thanks for any help! -dl We don't want to know any titles. Awaiting soruces means that you've used the Resume function to get the file to continue downlding. THis can be effective but is not the most effective way of finding sources to downld from. What's more it can have side-fx if applied to too many files such as using up all LW's resources. Doing a manual search is a much more effective means of finding sources for your files. Also try different types of searches. Do a general type search. Search the tile & artist. Some people incorrectly label their files so even a slight mispell can find xtra sources to downld from. Please see some tips here: A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities. eg: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...028#post116028 |
