Spyware

I thought since I paid for LimeWire Pro the spyware would not happen. All I have encounterd since I have installed it virus after virus, spyware and more spyware. Any Suggestions?

I also use Limewire Pro (V4.4.1) and I do not suffer the problems you seem to have.

It could be that you have not set the filters in LW to exclude certain file types, e.g. *.exe, *.bat, *.scr, etc., nasties can be hidden in them.

You have given very little information, can you explain your LW setup, this may indicate why you are collecting viruses and spyware.

Also, have you got any protection software, such as anti virus, firewall, anti spyware, etc?

thanks bob im real new to this part but i have loads for others to share not into porn and the like i only allow things from my end to be shared that make me happy........ticked extra boxs now tho.........lol.......Dean

Thanks very much for the pointer. I made the changes. Hope this will fix alot of the problems.
