Shared files listed in red?

Hi,

I've just added a new folder containing 1200 MP3 and WMA files to the shared folders list. To start with, all the file names were listed in red (I assume that they are not shared at this point). Over a period of time each filename is changing colour (to black) and figures appear in the Uploads/Hits columns. What's LimeWire doing with each file before it shares it and why does it take so long?

TIA,
Andy

When you added the files to the share folder. LimeWire has to sort and index them so others will be able to see them. This takes some time. The files in red haven't been sorted or indexed yet and are not being shared. When they turn black they have been sorted and indexed and are being shared.

The hits number represents the number of times it has come up in someone elses search results. The upload numbers represent
how many complete uploads you have had for that file, and how many partial uploads you have had, because there may have been other hosts uploading that file also, and they just got a piece of it from you.
