Need help organizing and saving downloaded music

How do I save my limewire files into my itunes directory so that if I delete all the files in limewire they still remain in my itunes directory? last time I tried it, I deleted ALL the songs I downloaded and had to start over...very frustrating. But, I don't want my computer's memory sucked up by everything being saved in 2 separate spots...any suggestions on organizing the music?

If you're not using OSX then iTunes will not automatically import the music. Did you see the Sticky at the top of this section before you posted? That's how you import music into iTunes. Once it is definitely inside iTunes library you can delete it. Why not have the iTunes library as a share folder. Then you'll know if your music has been imported or not. See: iPod & iTunes Sticky for instructions on importing music into iTunes. Remember that using the Control & O keys you can select multiple files at once by also using the SHIFT key. Once 'added' they can be deleted from the LW download folder.

As you can see below, if you share your iTunes Library then it is visible within the LW Lib window & lists artists & albums in folders.

albums - itunes

Risking wrath and retribution, I respectfully request:
Please tell me just how you get to Stickies, esp. the one about downloading albums and even more especially anything about doing so into iTunes. Did I need to indicate somewhere somethings different because no matter the Size or other info that makes me think I'm getting an album, it's never more than maybe 8 mins. worth of one song.
(Okay, I'm ready ------------------------

Click on the open discussion word above or press Go button below left. Then look at the top of the list & you'll see Sticky & open it.
