uninstall old limewire problem
I bought the new limewire pro and tried to delete the old free version but it wont get off my computer. I went into my control panel win/me and deleted it rebooted the computer but it still shows up. I went back into control panel and it doesn't show up there but the shortcut is still on my desktop and if i click onit it still opens up lime wire free version.

The older versions of LW older than 4.3 should use Program Add/Delete Control panel. See: Fixes for Limewire BUT instead of choosing repair you choose Remove! If you had the international/multilingual installed version then you should find an uninstaller under the Start>Programs>LW menu or else within the LW folder. If this doesn't solve it then use: Windows Installer CleanUp Utility (click on link)
Then update your Java!!! Then update your LW by downlding the installer & saving to your HDD. Then install it.
