Is There A Way To Preview The Song Before You Download

I THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER IF WE COULD LISTEN TO THE SONG AND KNOW IF WE WANT THE SONG. INSTEAD OF DOWNLOADING IT AND NOT ONLY GET IT UNCOMPLETE BUT TAKE A CHANCE ON A SONG WE DON'T EVEN WANT AND THE CHANCE OF GIVING US A PROBLEM WITH DELETING IT. ALL OF A SUDDEN IT SAIS ITS USED BY ANOTHER PERSON. OH BOY.! THAT STINKSDARK BLUE LARGE :D   ;) :) GOT MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT THIS NOT BEING ABLE TO PREVIEW BEFORE DOWNLOADING. AT LEAST IF WE LIKE IT WHEN WHERE STUCK WITH IT BEATS US FROM BEING STUCK WITH SOMETHING THAT TAKES UP ROOM AND UNDELETABLE.

To Preview the song just begin to download it then click on the file in the download box then select preview. You'll only be able to listen to the amount of the file that you have downloaded, but at least you'll have some idea.

I read that answer BUT...

OK, I read that answer about previewing songs, but then after it downloads and you decide to delete it, I usually get a message that it's in use by another application. What application?
Also, my comp. runs very slow when LW is enabled. I thought the amount of songs I have in my libr. was at fault but how can I delete songs to make my comp. run faster? I can delete some, but not others.

You can't delete them because you're sharing them. So there's probably someone uplding the song you want to delete. Don't you want to share or are you a leech who takes & runs!??? Give & take is what p2p is all about. Perhaps you misunderstand p2p's concept ... peer to peer sharing!
Close LW & then you can delete the file.

If you want to speed up LW & reduce drag then do these things:
Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue!
After opening LW wait 10 to 20 mins before using. Let it settle down 1st.
Set both uplds & downlds to autoclear.
Close all LW windows you don't need open at that time.
Don't use the Resume button on all incomplete files. This can have side-fx such as affect LW's connection quality. This will also stress LW & your comp. If you use Resume/Find sources then just apply it to a couple or so at one time.

Periodically you should go to your incomplete folder by opening it up (Library select incomplete & press Explore button) & delete any files that have the name Preview in it. This basically applies to movies however!
