limewire survey for school project

Hello,

We are a group of graduate students from the University of Michigan. We are
taking a class offered by the School of Information, SI 622 (Evaluation of
Systems and Services). We have chosen LimeWire for our semester long project.
As part of our evaluation we would like limewire users to participate in a short survey so as to gather data and assess LimeWire for our class project. The data collected will be used only for instruction. All responses are kept confidential. No information will be used for marketing or for any purpose other than the creation of a class report which will only be seen by the professor and our three group members.

This survey is voluntary, there are no requirements, and we apologize for any
inconvenience.

Survey:

School of Information: http://www.si.umich.edu/
Class description: http://web.si.umich.edu/courses/desc...cfm?passCID=21

We are not sure who to ask for permission but we tried to contact

webmaster@limewire.com
forums@gnutelliums.com
and a few moderators

If we should not have posted to this forum, we are sorry. It would help our project a long quite a lot if we were able to get some actual user data.

Sincerely,
SI 622 LimeWire evaluation group

thanks and problems

Hello everyone,

Thank you all for your help. The survey is hosted by surveymonkey and it seems as though if you don't have cookies enabled (at least in IE6) then it can cause a problem or two. This has happened at least once. We just thought we would let you know.

Also, we think we have enough data now. You can still take the survey if you like and we may use the new data as well. The survey will stay up for a while longer.

Thanks for your help
