Can the network administrator see what files I am downloading on Limewire?

Is there any way for a system administrator to monitor what is being transferred across the network while it is streaming?

Depends on what program they're using to check such things. It is highly possible particularly if they're a paranoid bunch. Otherwise, it may go unnoticed.
