Ugh.
Forgive me.
I was young and stupid.:D

Some (not so) funny facts about this thread:
-The same question about burning CDs has been asked 34 times in this thread alone
-The same question has been answered 21 times in this thread alone

I'm surprised that people kept coming back to this post trying to help when the solution has already been posted almost 10 times...

But heh we all need larffs ... even us mods (sounds like we're metallic robots without any apparent guise!) We're under cover under ... (pants or was that ... perhaps I should leave that one alone! lol :D) NO!!! this thread should continue as long as the stupidity of the posters continues. If they refuse to do the basics then we shall continue to make a fool of us & them. lol :D Plus + this thread just got stuck ... glued ... eek! Wash your hands please before dinner! Please! Spit out that chewy gum before eating! Wipe off those tattoos with some baby bubble bath soap!)

Burning Cd

HOW DO I BURN A CD USING LIMEWIRE?

ukbobboy01 January 10th, 2006 11:03 AM

You can't, Limewire does not have any CD burning software in it.

You will have to use something else like NERO or Roxio.

LovinGraphics January 23rd, 2006 08:47 PM

Ok, that was a good helpful link on how to use nero...
I am pretty much know what I am doing, but I am UNABLE to burn the music downloaded from LW. Apparently I do not have the licences that are supposed to come with the songs...

I am a pro user and paid, so all music I download should come with licences to burn and copy..right?

How do i get LW to take notice that I am a pro paid user, and that it is ok for me to make cd's with what I download from here?

I can download 50 songs...and maybe 1 or 2 I will be able to actually burn and take with me in the car...the other 48 I have to delete and try again...

any suggestions??

I know lots of people have already asked how to burn a cd.
I know this is going to sound like i don't know anything about a computer so please overlook that. I have a cd writer/dvd rom combo. My question is with that can i burn only cd's or can i burn dvd-r's too? is there some thing i am doing wrong or do i simply need different stuff for what i am tring to do which is burn movies to a dvd-r? Also what do i need to convert avi. file to something i can burn? please help!

murasame January 23rd, 2006 10:07 PM

Hrmm...
It depends on how old it is: the older CD burners could only read DVDs.
You need to check out over the net what it's capabilities are (go to the official site for example)

i love the help but i am a tad bit computer challenged. it is not that i don't try or that i am not capable of figuring it out. My computer is a couple of months old from wal-mart it is a compaq presario with windows 2000xp i think i wrote that info right. i so did not understand the whole info bit i am suppose to look up on the internet though. in all honesty i believe i don't not have the right program or media player to burn dvd-r could be wrong though. when i try to burn to dvd-r it says i have no disc in. All my media players(windvd, realplayer, window media player) i have when i go to burn it says cd burner. does that mean it will not burn to a dvd-r, the media player itself or is it just that my computer isn't capable of burning to dvd-r with my current hardware?
