Angry cannot play burned CD

HELP ME PLEASE. I am so clueless about this. I download a few songs from Lime Wire, but I cannot get them to play on the CD I burned.

All The songs said type was MP3. That is the only type I could find. How do I find the format for a CD and not an MP3? The CD will play on the computer, but not a CD player....

See Burning an audio CD from your MP3's Your problem is either you've burnt them as mp3 disk, burnt too fast, or burnt on a cd-rw instead of a cd-r. Choose the minimum possible burn speed & you will succeed!

The only option I get to burn is MP3. I don't get a slower option. MP3 is the only type that comes up in my searches.

A decent cd burner program will give you the choice of burning either an mp3 disk or an audio cd. The option is generally on the same window. Here's examples of choices from 3 programs below. What burner program are you using? Check your preferences (probably under Edit menu.)

If you don't have a choice about anything but an mp3 disk then that's your problem. Get a decent burner app like Nero or my prefered one which is Roxio Easy CD/DVD Creator. The 1st option above is from Roxio Easy CD Creator & the one below it is iTunes. Why not get iTunes? It's free: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ (it also arranges all songs into Artist>Album so it's neatly organised & easy to create playlists to burn.

I don't get another option from limewire...thanks for trying to help, but all you have done is confuse me more. My burner is not the problem. I can burn CD to CD and uplaod a CD and then make a playlist and copy to a CD, I just cannot get the songs form LIMEWIRE to play on a CD palyer. ALL THE LIMEWIRE SEARCHES AND DOWNLOADS ARE FOR MP3.

I have that problem as well. There also may be an issue with your player. I can play a disc in my car and on some portable devices but not my home cd player. There may be an issue with propirotary devices etc.. just some input.

You have to burn in a format the cd player will recognize.

If your cd player cannot recognize mp3 format, then of course it won't be able to play it.

There are burning programs that will convert mp3 format to cd format and vice versa, as Lord of the Rings has shown and explained.
