File type icon I want to inquire why is it that my LimeWire PRO 4.8.1 has a different icon for the file types displayed on the searches. Normally a page with a melody symbol would indicate an audio file, and a page with a tree indicates an image file but current version of limewire and java displayes some wierd icon that consist of many colourful lines/palettes, this goes the same to other file types except like rar or unknown file type it will display the appropriate type which is a page with window. Does anybody know the fix. I notice it happened when I update my LimeWire 4.0.6 to LimeWire 4.6 PRO and also update the java by installing the 15mb latest version and the same thing also is on my current version. Thanks |
I could be wrong but I think it might have something to do with your registry. If you have a registry cleaner it would be worth giving it a scrub. If you don't have one you can try: the links left here ie: installing softw can upset the balance of things particularly if previous versions are not properly cleaned up/uninstalled, etc. |
