transfer downloaded files to itunes library

I am a new user of limewire and mac (5days) so maybe I am just stupid;-)
In the beginning I created a folder next to my itunes library=>
Folders:music:itunes library+limewire
to save my downloaded files seperatly which was great, cause automatically this folder appeared in itunes - so downloaded files where saved in this folder and in the itunes library automaticaly - I could see the downloaded files in a seperate folder but did not have to transfer(copy)them anymore into itunes library....
now this is not working anymore..files are now just saved in the limewire folder, they do not appear anymore in itunes and I have to transfer them manual to the itunes library! what happened? did I change an option without realising?

The list you were seeing in iTunes is a playlist that comes from LW. But this is purely a playlist which is a reference to the songs. See the Sticky at the top of this section about iPod & iTunes. All your answers are there. Control & O is the best way to add them.

For the LW to show up in iTunes you need to have your iTunes sharing in LW options checked. ie: Tools>Options>iTunes ... & press apply button.

checked the options in lw and everything is as it should be....?!
what is a sticky?
have some problems with specific vocabulary in english;-)
