Huntin for a song...

I am looking for an old song, from the sixties, and I can't remember the name or artist. It is a song which has a line in I remember "going to church on Sunday, with the Girl I love".

My best suggestion is "Google" it. You can type in the lyrics you know followed by -lyrics. for example --- Jackrabbits going to the square dance-lyrics ----

I almost recognise those lyrics. I don't suppose you could remember some more. By the way, follow fabion's suggestion & you might be surprised. I do have some lyrical links but let's see how you go.

I tried Google, and got a zillion "church" and "love" and "girl".

Someony out there must know the song I'm looking for.

I don't recall any more words, but the song in my head is like those of Bobby Vinton, Gene Pitney, or Johnny Tillotson. I know it was the early sixties because I was dating my future wift at that time and used to sing it all the time.

in 1963 Gene Pitney had a song called "*****" but I dont know if thats the one you're looking for
