Ultrapeer

My files were being scanned by a user that showed as a "leaf node" and being shielded by "Ultrapeer". Any ideas what this all is? Thanks

Hmmm not sure, but I'm thinking the user may have used the browse host function of LimeWire. Probably to see if you had any other files that might be of interest for d/l to the user.

Hope this might have it explained it.

An ultrapeer is someone with a fast internet connection and no firewall. The feature can be turned off under options.

I have limewire set to run as ultra peer but should I turn that off since I run a firewall plus my router has a firewall.

No. As long as you have the bandwidth and you can connect to the Gnutella Network the firewalls do not cause any problems at all. Good luck.
