Japanese = Square boxes I'm not sure where exactly I should throw up this question, so I'll put it here. While I was using the previous version of Limewire (I'm not sure which one), I could search using Japanese text. The input box used little squares but the results were all in Japanese. I've since upgraded to LimeWire 4.8.1 and everything is with the little boxes. "Japanese" is also not an option when I try to change languages, but the translation site says the Japanese menu is good to go. I tried choosing "Japanese" when I installed LimeWire, however it installed as English (probably cause I'm using an English system). All I really want is for LimeWire to recognize Japanese fonts. I read that this could have some thing to do with my windows/java settings, but as far as I know, I haven't changed anything, so I'm not sure if it's a problem with these things. I"ll keep checking old threads, but it'll be great if someone can tell me how to fix this problem. |
Hmmm I just switched my English installed version of LimeWire Pro 4.8.1 to Japanese and back again. It appeared to be functioning correctly. Did you change the language and restart LimeWire for the changes to take effect. What operating system are you using? You can check these 2 posts out. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=32410 http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=33593 |
