I have over ALOT of music files I usually don't put up but if you start searching on LimeWire I have LOADS from the 50's, 60's, and 70's I am willing to make available for a short period of time. Be awhile to upload but you can check if there is anything you need. |
Why I'm Not Sharing Thank you. My computer is now back to a its basic shell state so I will be spending time reinstalling programs and upgrading drivers, etc. May be a few days before I can start trying to replace music. Will get back to you at that time - I'm not all that familiar with Limewire so will probably have a couple of questions on how to access your files. Also, I am not sure how to enqueue files one at a time, or if it's even possible. Yes, it will take awhile to download. Much of the time I am able to download between 5/6 bps - not too bad for a modem. I remember those Napster days when I would get up in the middle of the night when a song would pop into my head and search and search. I really was like a kid let loose in a candy store. Thanks again. |
Have you tried to run a small program called "GetDataBack". When you format your harddrives the data never "dissapears". It always leaves a trace which this program can find and ultimately restore much of the data you may have lost. All you need to do is to download the one that fits your system eg. getdataback fat32 or nfts. Run the program and wait. Vampire |
Why I'm Not Sharing Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the time to post this great information. I have never heard of this program. This I will try - I have always figured that when it's gone, it's gone forever. Will post the results. |
