When you delete a file out of your shared where does it go?

just wondering what happens I never see the files go to the recycling bin where do they go?

These files are like an ex-wife; once I kick them out I don't care where they go as long as they are gone. :D Most likely they fall in the class of uncompleted files and go to the ethernet/internet underworld. But if you repeatedly delete numerous files don't forget to defrag.
