Adding new host servers

When I open Limewire, it connects to some host servers. If I want to, I can add more hosts, but therefor, I must know the IP addresses. Is there a site with host IPs? I found some but when I add them, it looks like it's searching or something and after some seconds, the IP address that I typed disappears.
I don't know if adding more hosts will help to find more files. Anyway, I wanted to try, but, as I said, in order to add new hosts, I have to know their IP addresses. If someone knows a site with daily updated host IPs, please let me know.
Thank you very much !

No one knows a place where I can get some hosts? I tried to find a post with a similar question and found one, someone asking for a list with hosts, but no one gave an answer to that question. There is a function to add hosts, so I guess there must be a list with hosts. But where?

A list with hosts ?
It's been ages ago that any gnutella client would need one, it's a thing from the past.

But why would you need more hosts anyway ?

RaaF, as I said above, I'm not sure that adding more hosts will make more files available. When I launch Limewire, it connects to 5 or 6 hosts. I wanted to try to connect to more hosts and see if more files would appear. That's why I would like to find a list with hosts, so that I could manually add them to the 5 or 6 already connected. Are you aware of such a list?

It's not sure that connecting to more hosts will give you more search results.
Anyway limewire's internal (non configurable) settings are choosen to give optimal performance .
If you want full controll over your network settings you could try Phex.
Note: you don't need any lists, just increase your connections settings and Phex will connect to more hosts.
I never let Phex connect to more than 6 ultrapeers, I don't seem to get better results connecting to more than 6, it just increases network traffic.
