Default Mind Bending/Annoying interface flashing?

Hey,

I don't understand how the designers could let something this bad happen but does any one know why the Limewire interface starts flashing like a strobe light at some point during downloads?

It's so bad that you can't even look at anything, type or scroll. It seems like putting the mouse above the menus and holding the left mouse button down will hold it, but as soon as you let go it starts flashing again. It doesn't always do this and seems to do it more when there are a lot of search tabs or downloads in progress.

Thanks!

Val

Default Also Flashing....

I'm having the same problem. Even if that is the only program running (besides Panda Antivirus and Dialup Connection software). I have a HP Pavilion ze5300 running WinXP SP2, 2.4gig Intel Processor, 712mb RAM.

I only run ONE search tab at a time, and my machine is only using approximately 43% resources while searching and downloading one file.

I don't know if this is the same issue but if you put your cursor near mp3's listed on the interface it may cause it to flash as it attempts to read the id tags. So leaving your cursor there ain't a great idea. This is a Java problem.

Downloading the current Java 2 Runtime Environment fixed my problem.
