![]() First off, Limewire is the BEST and has no real competitors. I took a look at the very last section of uploads and noticed it titled Vendor/Version. There were different programs listed other then Limewire. I am scared to mention any other program specificly, "promoting" other P2P software besides Limewire and I am not...but are all of these realy linked or just somewhat? Are all the files shared amongst File sharing program A with Limwire file sharign program B, C, and D? |

![]() No problem mentioning the others: to see a list of vendors that connect to the gnutella network right now, look at http://www.limewire.com/english/content/uastats.shtml Gnutella is open to all. Limewire has become a leader among the vendors, but is not the only legitimate vendor. So you'll be sharing with quite a few others, and downloading from them too. In fact, if you run as an Ultrapeer, LW makes sure at least two slots are allowed for non-LW connections, so new developers and others don't get excluded. cheers |
