No Sound!!!!!!
 
i just downloaded the *** a musical journey dvd-r
and im playing it and there is no sound. when i check the music folder called Audio TS is empty. i dont know what to do
i hope someone here would know thnx alot in advance

2. Your issue is either bad file or you need more codecs to play it. For codecs see: http://www.land.ee/d_nimo_codec.html or http://www.free-codecs.com/ or else/& get a backup player that has in-built codecs & plays almost all except the odd wmv file; VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site)

This will show what VLC can play: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html

Oh you downlded a complete dvd .. ok missed that. The Audio TS folder is always empty. That's b/c the video & audio are multiplexed together. VLC should still be able to play it. If it can't get any sound .. then not sure ... might be the audio format so if you have a dvd-rw burner you could try burning it & trying it out on your set top player.

thank you media player didnt work
VLC player saved the day thnx alot man
now there is another problem
there is sound in the menu but when i play it , there is a static noise during the actual movie

You could try out the audio filters within VLC, you'll find them under VLC preferences. I've never used them! :rolleyes: :D

another problem some of the chapters work fine but other still have some static noise

i actually prefer using media player is there anyway to get the sound to come on through that
