Problem using LimeWire's media player...

Hi

I don't know if this is a problem with my computer, but occasionally when I play tracks in LW MP the track will "stick" repeating a second of a song over and over again, then the song continues to play OK. Usually it's when a browser is launching on my computer (WXP, Firefox), but not always. It's like being back in the days of vinyl, when a record used to stick! Is this a problem with my CPU, or has anyone else had this problem? I usually use WMP10 to play MP3s and never have this problem (so it's not a corruped file), but occasionally I use LW to play songs, which is when I get this problem.

Greetings midnight_blue

Limewire's player is not known for it's quality playing ability. The developers have more important issues to address at this time.

I would suggest using your default system player. It will sound much better.

You can do this in LW tools>options>player --- uncheck the box --- click apply then okay. You will also need to restart LW for the change to take effect.
