| I am new to LimeWire, and I just downloaded LimeWire Pro. I started several downloads and left the computer running all night while I slept like I used to with Kazaa and Ares, and when I woke up and checked the computer only a few of my files got downloaded and at the bottom it said that it was sleeping. I've checked the settings and I didn't see anything about any sleep mode. Is there a way that I can disable this sleep mode, or do I have to sit at the computer and make sure that it never goes idle so that I can finish my downloads??? PLEASE HELP METhanks |

| Ahh -- that Idle status is not related to downloads. That just means LimeWire has noticed you're not using you're computer, so it disconnects from a few Ultrapeers, letting other users connect to the network easier. By releasing those Ultrapeers, LimeWire also needs less bandwidth so that more is available for downloads and/or uploads. This is not a user configurable option because it is good for the network health. Allowing users to change the behaviour at will could be harmful. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=32303 |
