Files with HOSTiLE in name Why do so many files say HOSTiLE when so many people have the file? |
anyone? |
HOSTiLE Does anyone know the answer? Are they safe to download? Has anyone had any problems downloading files with HOSTiLE in them? |
Interesting, I've never seen that. I'll keep an eye on this thread I'm interested in the answer. |
I only see that on one series of films and I have a hunch it is the name of a publisher. Bitzi look up checks out ok ... looks ok to me |
I should add what I mean about bitzi lookup which is a very good way to check if a file is ok. Right click on the file in the search window>look up file with bitzi and your browser will take you to a page with information about the file. Some have no information and Windows users can provide a great service by giving information on these. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=37676 |
OK, thanks. Did not know about that bitzi thing either, and that seems quite handy. Have done that on the files (Godfather) and they are all rated high, so seem fine. |
That's good .. notice I omitted the name of the film ... this was to comply with forum rules:) I noticed one small file .. called "info" in a format I had not heard of. That was unknown in Bitzi and was the one I would have been wary of as a possible virus or worm carrier... of course it may have been fine ..... |
