is this possible? By default, limewire will return files list match the keyword the user previously input, with a "#" column indicates the number of sharing hosts, I think this may present the popularity by some degree, this is good. But is there any way to find the most popular file shared by limewire users without any keyword in mind? For example, I wanna know what is the hottest music file currently. |
You can get some idea by using a "What's New" type search. Otherwise, other companies monitor filesharing networks for the music industry, and list popularity rankings. See http://p2pnet.net/story/5044 for an example. |
Many thanks, stief. :) |
