Limewire won't open?!
 

Hey people,

I have never really had a problem with my limewore application,
but now limewire just wont appear on my screen...all that appears is the promt to get limewire pro then nothing appears...the window is open on the taskbar but nothing appears --_--''

any help you could give me would be much apreciated.

U MIGHT HAVE 2 RE- INSTALL IT .

1. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire If this doesn't fix it then see below.

3. Try uninstalling Java using the Add/Remove control panel. Then reinstall but 1st downld the Java installer to your comp (don't install over the net!) With any luck this will fix it. If you have Java 1.5 then jump back to Java 1.4.2 You can get links for Java from the above link in point 1.

i deleted the .limewire folder...
