This probably is a silly question but what does a checkbox with a green checkmark in it in the Quality column mean?

Where are you refering to? In the search results, you'll get stars. Yellow stars are the norm. If you get blue ones then it means you are connected to someone of a lan & can probably expect very fast speeds.

it means that you already have that file or a file that has the same sha-1 hash as that one.
