im new to p2p and its just wow..but
 

i been here about 2 weeks and i have downloaded music videos and old movies thats hard to find


but i was looking for some faces of death videos and jenna j videos . i was previewing them like i always do but i found out a few of them were nasty godless trash ...bad stuff that made me puke


i deleted them but its still on my mind i feel so damn dirty i know im not going to sleep tonight . why do they let these people put this sick stuff on here

i don't know who's wprse the people that share the files or the people that look for it and download it

Sorry about your bad experience but I think you misunderstand what P2P is about, you said:

There is no "here" to put things on, i.e. no central server, no special place or anything else. There are just individuals, some strange, with their stuff on their own individual PCs.

And basically, what you did was download "sickness" from a sick individual. Check this URL, it will explain clearly how P2P networks work:

Once you understand the P2P network you will now understand why you have to take precautions to protect yourself (and I just don't mean viruses and worms).
