Storing Music What's the best way to store about 11GB of music, economically? I want to be able to access it, but right now, I've got it on my hard drive and it's getting a little messy in there...any suggestions from the tech-heads? Thought about getting an external hard drive, but I was wondering if there was a cheaper way to do so. Backing up on DVD-R's I've done, but I was wondering if there are any other options out there. Thanks! Wild Peach |
Your 2 ideas are the same as mine. Once I reach the 4.37 GB mark for a particular grouping of stuff, then I'll burn it to dvd so i can play it on computer or stereo system via the dvd player. Done with iTunes it comes up with a menu of artist>album & you can program it to play in a particular order. But as far as my on-board iTunes library goes, I'm thinking about moving it to an external HDD to free up space. |
Well, thanks for getting back to me, I'm gonna try the external hard drive thing and I'll let you know how it works out, Santa won't bring me and iPod (he's still sore about the Ex-Lax cookie thing) and I'll just keep backing up. If anyone has some creative and cheap (I cannot stress the cheap thing enough!), I'd love to hear it! Thanks, LOTR, you are the wind beneath my wings!!!!! |
