Question DVD Burning from Limewire?

Hello,
I have an iMAC Powerbook G4 and I was wondering what is the best way... if any, to burn a dvd from downloaded movies from Limewire? Is there a certain format? What program should I use it through? I already tried dragging the files from limewire, but they will not go into any folder on my desktop. PLEASE HELP!!!

Get Toast 5 or 6 (6 better), & select video tab & drag & drop your vid files into the window from your LW downld folder. Toast will convert the files after you hit the record button. You can edit start & end points also.

DVD video uses UDF format. If you choose video tab & press the advance button & select dvd-video then toast will format the disk that way.

Toast will burn both mpg & avi. But I think there might be some avi formats it can't burn. AVI is like QuickTime ... it is purely the outer shell ... the actual type of avi can vary greatly between different types (eg: divx, XviD, 3ivx, Matrovski, etc.)

Mpeg has less options within Toast. It can't be edited, etc. As to which is best ... well that depends on the original conversion quality of each particular file. There's no one is better than the other.

However, DVD's use mpeg2 format by the way. VCD's use mpeg1. SVCD's use mpeg2. So if it's avi then Toast will need to convert it.
