Limewire To ITUNES. NEED HELP!

I just got limewire and I have ITunes. The problem is that I can't get Limewire songs to the Library in ITunes. There is a file that holds the Limewire songs, but i dont know how to transfer those into the ITunes library or other playlists so the limewire songs will be much more accessible. PLEASE HELP!!!

hey

try and find the option that will ask you if you want to add files to your library

Tried it. Don't work.

It works! What's more there's more than one technique! If the song isn't properly id3 tagged then it might appear in iTunes library as an untitled album or artist.

Within iTunes menu File>Add to Library ...

But there's certain file types iTunes can't import such as mp3 pro, ogg vorbis, realplayer files.

Yeah, before I read your reply, I got it. It seems you must go to the LimeWire Library, Click a song, hit the "Enqueue" button, click another song, hit the "Enqueue" button, repeat again and again until you have all your songs, hit the "save as" button, and go through all this crap in the documents or program files, then save it! Jesus christ! CAN'T LIMEWIRE MAKE IT ANY EASIER?!!!!!

I'm not sure if I have the same problem

When I try to save to iTunes I receive the following error message "the shared music library 'client's LimeWire Tunes' us not accessible for an unknown reason. (-3259). Check that amy firewall running on either the shared computer or on this computer has been set to allow communication on port 5214. Do you receive this error message? Either way, does anyone know what I have to do to fix this?

from linewire to itunes

I also have itunes. When you want to put a song or songs onto itunes, open the folder you download your limewrie tunes to.
Open itunes and add a new playlist.
Open it and just drag the songs onto the playlist window. Really easy. Hope I explained it well. You can name the playlist when you're done.

jeez, now i see why they changed the unix command users to lusers...
but anywho

there are shortcuts ya know, like click-hold and drag all files downwards or upwards. then press enqueue.

then you have the easiest which is ctrl-a which selects all. then you have ctrl-click to click multiple files at a time....

lol not forgetting you can simply drag & drop the songs directly from LW's Library window to iTunes. :D
