I appologize if this has been asked and answered but I need help.

I have downloaded about 4 or 5 .zipped programs and scripts and each time it unpacks to a setup.exe file which does nothing. What am I doing wrong???

Do I need something else to get these setup files to execute??

Just be sure they are safe files. Have you checked those files with your anti-virus program. Your description sounds similar. And make sure your AV definitions are up to date.

As far as explaining how to do what you want ... that falls under the piracy rules. We can't help in that regard.

My anti-virus says its fine. What i don't get is his....every zip I have downloaded does the same thing. I find that very odd. If this is the case with everyone, why would we use the service? The file in question for example is 2.26mb and is simply labeled setup.exe but does nothing.

If there is anyone out there with an answer for me PLEASE respond.
