Uninstalled, Now I can't download Limeware Oh no, I uninstalled the Limewire that I got from the MyMusic.com site (see my other posts) and now no matter what I do, I cannot download from the official Limewire site. I just keep getting switched back and forth on the pages and the download doesn/t start. I rebooted after the uninstall. I installed Avast. Now I cannot get Limeware to download. Avast found adware that was something about a "toolbar." But I do have a Google toolbar, so I don't think that has anything to do with it. I REALLY want the Limewire back and in the next two weeks I'm buying the Pro. What can I do in the meantime? I just don't understand this at all. Help again, please!:( |
You could try downloading LimeWire via www.download.com It's a trustworthy site. Would you explain what happens more clearly when you try to install LimeWire?? |
You're absolutely right, before I read your post I went to Download.com and installed from them. Pheew! what a relief! When I was trying to download from LimeWire, I would get to the red "Get it Now" button, press to download and it just sent me back to the page comparing LimeWire Pro to Limewire 4.9.7, I hit download from the top of that page, and I got sent back to "Get it Now." Seems like I was stuck in a matrix, LOL. Anyway, I'm a happy woman now, and it's 4:15 am here so I'll get some sleep (maybe) if I don't get started in Limewire tonight (this Morning actually). :o By the way, think My Music.com had anything to do with the problem? |
