FastTrack, KaZaa, MusicCity, Morpheus coming under attack! Could LimeWire be next :(

Story at: http://www.dotcomscoop.com/riaa1003.html

Direct Quote "At the meeting Rosen hopes to discuss how to "spoof" the new file sharing technologies, how to promote existing services on legitimate file sharing services, a public relations campaign and general legal strategies and options."

Does that mean that they will try to create cancerous nodes to disturb these networks? I am not a programmer, but have an intermediate skill in P2P understanding. What code does limewire have to prevent 'bad' or 'cancerous' nodes?

Or does that mean that they will advertise the 'legitimate' P2P services that the RIAA will provide for a small fee? (i.e. ever download a porn .jpg from limewire and it says "hey, go to jimbos porn stand at: www.jimbos-hos.com)

Either way, I'd hope that LimeWire would be resillient(sp?) because it is both (now)open-source and distributed.

Thx.
