Uploading Hash Tree?

Someone was downloading a song from me and on the monitor screen under Status it said 'Uploading Hash Tree'. What does this mean? :confused:

Salut, each file has a proper "identity" so LW can detect corruption when downloading one file. You first download the tiger hash tree which lets LW identify corrupted chuncks and to replace those bad chunks with good ones when downloading the file.
