I'm SO new at this and I need help... After I've downloaded the songs I want, how do I burn to a CD from the library? I'm sure it's simple and I'm missing it, but can someone help?

From what I know, you can't burn the songs from the LimeWire library. You need a program (ie. Sonic RecordNow!, etc.) to do this. First open up the program that burns CD's and then you can copy the files that you want to burn from your shared folder. Paste the songs into the program window and start burning. If you are having anymore problems let me know. I may be able to help.

I think you can just go to your limewire library and look at the "path" column. That would be the path to get to your library and all of your media files. This is what I do: Right-click Start button (for Windows) go to Explore > Local Disc C: > Program Files > Limewire > Root. Then right-click music files and select "Burn CD in RealPlayer". This may work for you. I think it will. If not, maybe your path column reads differently. *Note* Sometimes certain media files in your library cannot be burned to a CD due to the format of the file with your media burning program. I can't get mine to burn videos but most music formats work fine. I hope this helps anyone confused with CD burning.

You can also use free versions of RealPlayer & Media Player to burn songs from your library. If Limewire is set to save to the Shared folder in My Documents, it's easy to find from the browse feature in those programs. The only problem with using Media player, is that it not burn all of the songs downloaded. With the free version of RealPlayer, it won't record MP3 CD's, it will only convert the MP3's to WAV files and burn them. Otherwise, there are plenty of different CD burning software out there for sale.
