Magnetmix WMA files

I download a file from Magnet mix just to see how it worked, and because New Riders Of The Purple Sage are or were a fine band, and share with the Grateful Dead A healthy attitude to copyright.

Problem is I can't play the file! (Truck Store Truck Driving Man)

I use mac OSX 10.3.9 but am posting here as I dont know if it is a Mac specific problem.

I was directed to http://www.shmedlic.com/license/licensev2.a by Windows Media player and this message appeared: before that:

The page “Weed Licensing Status” has content of MIME type “application/x-drm-v2”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed. This is the sort of message WMA files tend to give when they are copyright protected, which , I assumed, this was not!

Any ideas. ????? I'm more curious than anything else

I also converted the file to mp3 with easy WMA but it returned a useless file reduced from 2,7 to 4kb

Your wma file is probably encoded with an unsupported codec or is DRM protected. EasyWMA will be updated regularly and will benefit from new codec support in ffmpeg.
