Searching for video I get porn

Not that I have anything against porn particularly, but when I search for non-porn video, I get a million returns of porn videos with disgusting names. Is Limewire looking into this?

Thanks!

Bonnie

most spam pornos can be filtered by adding .wmv to your keyword filters list.

(add .wmv aswell as .wma and you will block lots of unwanted spam. these filetypes are not standards anyways, they are proprietary filetypes.)

The larger problem is that whatever is attracting those porn files in searches is also constraining searches, so the number of legitimate results are 10% of normal.

Just block the hosts of these files, worked for me.

How to delete unwanted items

We have downloaded some items that are telling us they can not be deleted and may be in use by another program. How can we get rid of them? Have you had this problem?

video porn

i too find the same problem, I am not a prude and dont mind the odd sites, but some of the filth that is on there, which makes reference to underage and other obscenities really does put the damper on these sites, specially when it is billed as something entirely different, pity they cant trace back to the original source, so as they can deal with them, how they should be dealt with

sometimes limewire forgets to release the file back to the operating system after it uses it (i hope this is fixed in the future.) but in order to rid it completely without getting that error, unfortunitly you need to restart LW then go into the library and delete it, or shut it down then delete it in windows explorer.
