How does pro payment work?

First time poster. Apologies if wrong forum.
I am interestd in getting the pro version. It says 6 months free upgrades...or something.
If I get the pro version, I get free 6 months updates but if a newere version cones up, I need to pay for he new version?
Is it worth getting the pro version?
Thanks
Pat

It is what it says, free updates for 6 mths. So no, over that 6 mths you won't have to pay for a new version. However, I would recommend you get LW Basic 1st. Then see how you like it. And learn how to use it. LW Basic is FREE from here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

I have been using the free version for quite a few months and I quite like it. Just wondering wether the pro version is worth the $.
Thanks
Pat

Matter of opinion. I would warn don't expect dramatic improvements. You do connect to 5 peers instead of 3 so it makes searching a little easier. I use Pro & am very happy with it. I used Basic for a few yrs. The improvements are only subtle. It is in some ways a donation to the LW.org programmers to keep afloat.
BTW middle earth is just south of you. lol :D

Another way is to use the BETA's. More fun than a rollercoaster and free.

My two cents worth I don't have to give them they are exactly the same as the Lords. Buy it if you like the network.
