re-iterates read forum rules.

But any way what LOTR said is correct you can only get ethernet speeds with blue stars and they are wonderful if you get them. Those speeds should be around 400 KB/s and may be even faster depending on your ethernet card and distance from your LAN connection.

Outside the LAN you will only get the speed or service you have subscribed to.

But remember outside your LAN you can only d/l as fast as the host(s) can upload.
