having trouble listening to complete downloaded music

Please Help! Every time i download a song and then try to listen to it the song will play for 15 - 20 sec. and then start all over again. This has happened to every song i've downloaded.

Please be a little more specific. How many songs have you downladed? is it 3 or 30 or 300?

What are you listening on?

How long have you been using Limewire etc.

There are some files that play exactly as you say. Needless to say the files are faulty. I come across one reasonably often but you may just have been unlucky.

Limewires mp3 player is not the best in the world either, .....but the faulty file theory is the better one, I think. If you are going for something popular, you might have to try a few times to get a decent copy. you see a lot of people download a faulty copy and then go and share it without checking it and so the problem escalates! I recently downloaded a popular album, just to see what hapenned, and it required a lot of checking and the discarding of nearly half the files. It would have been much easier to go and buy the CD at the shop ... and I'd have got a pretty booklet and possibly a DVD or whatever as well!
