How to load limewire to another pc?

I purchased the Basic Limewire 8.0 on a previous pc of mine but How do I get access to download again with my second pc. Both pc's have different e-mail addresses. I have the user name and password that was given to me but do not know how to access that specific area to download on this pc. I would hate to have to purchase this product again, just because I have two separate email addresses. I saved the program, but it will not load.

Limewire was purchased at sight you suggested. It's not 8.0, but the 4.8 for about 27 dollars. It works well on the pc I ordered from but cannnot get access to area where I can download to this pc. Can get to web sight---do I have to go through the order again as though I am purchasing for the first time?

um ... LW pro costs US $18.88 .. that's what I was saying. Go to LW's menu bar, Help>About LimeWire & does it say LW pro? (see image below) If it doesn't say pro then you didn't purchase pro but might have bought it at a scam site who directed you to the LW Basic version downld site. If I'm wrong then my apologies. Just checking. (LW Basic is free.)

LW Pro offers 6 months of updates from the day of purchase. If it's moer than 6 mths since you purchased it then you won't be able to get more updates for pro without repurchasing it. You would have received an email with a link to your personal downld page. Most people bookmark this page. If you didn't then you can go to the LimeWire site & go to support section & pro users & go thru their check to get your personal downld/update page back.

still having a problem

I purchased Limewire for 27.80, the pro edition was 37.68, which
I did not purchase. Do not know what site I ordered but it looks exactly like the one you sent me. I have the lifetime full & unlimited access. Went to support, but they could not help because I am not a pro. owner.

That's right! There is no lifetime & unlimited access ... they're the words that many scam sites use in their advertising. LW Pro is simply 6 months of free updates & customer support over that time. Your version looks the same b/c it either is the Basic version downlded from the LW or it's a LW clone. There is no such thing as versions 27.80 or 37.68!!! Your version was not purchased from the "official" LW site. I don't know how much you paid but as I said earlier, there is ONLY one place to purchase LW & that's the official LW site. Also, if you paid for LW but don't have the pro version, then you have paid for the Basic version which LW offers for FREE. See where I'm coming from now? Unfortunately there's nothing you can do as updating pro since you don't have pro. But you can start by getting the official LW version by going to the official LW site & sticking with them. I'd be curious to find out more about what version you have. Does it say LimeWire? If possible I'd like you to post it to me so I can view it & see what you were given. Do you remember the original website address where you purchased? Have a look at my link for 'Known Scam Sites' above & see if it's listed there. ;)

the 27.80 was the price I paid, not the version. I think I went through cox cable search and I had an Imesh search/address bar under google and accessed Limewire link. Many thanks for your helpful info and your time. Steve:confused:

sounds like you got royally scammed.....there are people out there on the net who are just looking for lots of money fast.......

One wonders why there are no internet police, or if there are, why aren't they working harder
