I heard that a song I want is on limewire. It is a song in a musical and it is not on the soundtrack. I really want to get it, but it is not sold anywhere. Is illegal to get a song from this that I cannot find a way to buy?

I think it's fair to say that if you were to obtain this single track that the legal system of whatever country you are in would be likely to turn a blind eye. But ..... If it came to the worst would YOU be prepared to spend several months in prison for the sake of the song? You can take the optimistic view, or the pessimistic view. Do you really need to ask he question???? Oh just go for it but whatever you do ... DON'T implicate me as an accessory to the deed! :D

You know? Maybe its not really a wise idea to announce on an open forum what you are searching for eh? According to the RIAA it's not but then again, I dont see how they make the laws in the US, now, if your outside the US then thats different. Just dont download over a thousand song files. One or two songs doesnt hurt but a thousand plus, might. ;)
