all deleted!
 

I turned on my computer this evening only to discover that my entire library had been deleted. What possibly caused that? i have limewire basic............... everything gone! everything!

2 options I can think of. If you have windows Xp then see this: System restore for deleted files

Otherwise you'll need a file recovery program lik Norton or else, get PC Inspector File Recovery (click on link) which is free.

*** Actually it sounds to me like you logged into a different account to the one you normally log into & that's why your previous settings are gone! ;)

They're probably still on your hard drive somewhere--LW won't just delete files.

Use your operating system's Find (or Explore) function to search your hard drive for the name of a file you remember.

If nothing is found, use your social skills to find out who or what else had access to your computer ;)

Could you let us know how you got on

If using windows xp then you could get the files back using system restore, I've you havn't turned it off for that drive

You could also have signed on to a Diffrent user, then The song files you downloaded would not be available.

If Your using Wndows Xp Pro then, if you sign in as the administrator you should be able to access every file on the computer, that means every users files as well, if the computer is set up properly.
