Limewire has viruses or does it
 

I have downloaded some files from limewire,, winavi, and dvdsanta.. both came from the same user's under diff names both the same size 851.7 kb. As you do when you download a file of any type you run a virus chk. on finishing, norton says virus found and auto deleted, then folder is empty.......What gives.... Are u full of virus's??????? This is not the first time......:mad:

please use the search button above right and search for "Virus"
and do another for "851.7"

But remember this: Limewire is the tool that connects 2 sharers, for instance you and me, and we can download files from each other. I can upload viruses to you and Limewire is powerless to prevent it.
You must ensure that none of the files I send you is a virus by using virus protection.
It is very unwise do download programme files, but if you do check their size and think about whether the size of the file is about right! and don't ever download a file of 851.7!
