I want to share a mpeg file with my daughter overseas. She has LimeWire but when searching she has not been able to find the file I have put in the share folder. How can I ensure that she gets access to the file. Is there a way of sharing direct with her via Limewire.?

She will have to connect with you IP address, and then browse your library. Go to view- show/hide - make sure connections is checked. Click the connections tab. Then go to add host, and type your IP.

You coul always E-Mail it to her

Why would his file above not show on a search?

All my files are shared and I uploads - loads, - but am not sure if some files get indexed in a Limewire search....

How can I check my shared dircectory is browsable by others?
