When i have the older version of Limewire (i think it was like 4.8.1), i would search for something and it would bring up hundreds of results. but now that i have downloaded the new version, i search and i hardly even reach one hundrend results. is this a common problem or can i fix this?

cant anyone help?

I found the same problem, but I think they are trying to weed out some of the spammers. I went back to 4.9.26. It seems to produce more results, but still a lot of spam.

i have the new version: 4.9.29 and it works perfectly and even better.

I was talking about 4.9.28. They came out with like four different versions in two weeks. I'm installing 4.9.29 now to see if they fixed the problems.

4.9.29 does work much better. That's probably why they updated it so fast.

my company has a firewall that i cannot control, and it s blocking limewire but i opened a port and now it works good but in the limewire pro 4.9.29, i cannot direct connect to my friends but i downloaded the older version limewire pro 4.8.1, and now it gives no sign that says, limewire has detected a firewall.
